Our client is an internationally renowned law firm and they are looking for a career paralegal to join their small but close corporate secretariat group.
The role will include maintaining and updating the corporate registers for a large number of local subsidiary companies and foreign registered companies; ensuring compliance of companies with requirements under the Corporations Act; drafting documents to effect changes to companies including but not limited to change to directors, issue and transfer of shares, application of class orders 98/98; change of company name a deregistration; drafting AGM and board of director minutes; and more.
The successful applicant will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, gained in either a law firm or one of the Big 4 Accounting firms. You will have a good client service approach, a good work ethic and be a good team player. Other personal attributes sought include a courteous and professional manner in all dealings, a positive attitude and approach, and the ability to contribute to the effective functioning of the team.
We are looking for career paralegals only so law students need not apply.
