Social Mobility

When it comes to social mobility, it seems Britain is being left behind the rest of the world. There have been some disturbing statistics released this week including the fact that Britain has some of the lowest social mobility in the developed world and figures from the OECD showing that our earnings in the UK are more likely to reflect our fathers' (OUR FATHER’S WHAT?) than in any other country.

We are pleased that social mobility within the professions is such a hot topic; it is something that has long needed to be addressed. The fact that 15% of lawyers currently come from exclusive public schools that educate just 2% of the UK population is a shocking statistic.
