We are instructed by a well-known European policy and lobbying association which operates in the healthcare sector to appoint a Director of IP Policy. This is a key and critical appointment to join our client’s high performing team with substantial policy expertise in its ranks. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced senior lawyer with expertise in IP from the life sciences sector to help drive our client’s IP initiatives across the EU as well as to strategise on, design and maintain sustainable IP frameworks to drive further innovation.

To excel in this role, you must be a gamechanger and subject matter expert with around 10 years of experience in the IP pharmaceutical or IP regulatory pharmaceutical sector. Additionally, your leadership poise and presence must be value-adding and you should be at ease developing and maintaining trusting relationships with key stakeholders and external bodies. Familiarity with the functioning of EU institutions and EU decision making process is helpful. Your ability to influence, guide and steer decisions are your natural skills which will be employed and developed in our client’s culture which is described as collaborative, rewarding and having “a family feel”. "
