It’s simple – our client makes the world greener and saves lives.  Operating at the forefront of global technology and connected solutions, our client is shaping the future of mobility.

As a result of strategic expansion and high-yield growth, our client has created a unique Executive Director Legal role in the Commercial Excellence function to be based in Dublin, Ireland.  As an experienced and commercially astute lawyer, you will provide critical support to the global sales business, acting as a key liaison between legal and commercial.  You will drive a disciplined approach to commercial strategy and best practices to increase profit, reduce risk and improve our client’s customer experience.

You are likely to have at least 8 years of commercial experience, ideally from a law firm and subsequently in-house experience within the automotive industry.  You will advise on a plethora of legal and commercial issues including commercial contracts, supplier disputes, product safety and liability, compliance and regulatory issues. With a focus on process improvement, you will build, drive and optimise scalable contract review flow and process improvement. You will simplify global contract management through stakeholder partnering and process excellence.

You will be a seasoned commercial lawyer qualified in any European country with automotive industry experience and an understanding of complex automotive supply chains. You will have a great deal of commercial acumen, executive presence and a passion for technology and will be highly motivated, intellectually curious and ambitious. Our client is happy to relocate the right candidate to Dublin.

A passion for technology and making the world a better, safer place is essential.
