The Role

As part of the expansion of its legal and compliance function, a Global Data Privacy Counsel position has been created at the company's headquarters in Switzerland. The position will involve working with the Group Head of Compliance to oversee Data Privacy compliance across 14 countries, co-lead an internal network of country privacy leaders, ongoing development of Data Privacy policies and processes on a strategic basis, working closely with key corporate functions at a senior level to ensure commercially effective compliance.

The Requirements

A Common Law qualified lawyer, with a strong academic background is sought with at least 5 years experience, ideally gained from private practice and an in-house corporate environment.

Experience and understanding of GDPR and its implementation is preferred, along with a background in corporate, finance, general commercial and/or regulatory matters.

An energetic, self motivated, strong communicator, with ability to learn quickly in a fast paced, high performing environment, where there will be opportunity to shape this new position and be part of a growing function at an exciting stage of its development.
