This firm is an international law firm with a stellar Life Sciences practice. They have a multidisciplinary and Pan-European practice and advise major life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical technology and biotechnology corporations on all cutting edge regulatory, transactional and contentious matters, at both UK and EU level.

The Partners are now looking for a Life Sciences Regulatory Associate with 1 to 5 years of experience to join their London team. There is a real opportunity here to join a well-knit team at the forefront of the Life Sciences industry. Associates are well looked after and this role offers plenty of partner support, a lot of direct client contact and excellent career progression prospects.

The successful candidate will work predominantly on UK and EU life sciences regulatory matters. Given the versatile nature of the practice, there is also scope to e.g. advise on corporate commercial and transactional matters in the life sciences industries and / or work on litigation cases in the UK and EU Courts.

The workload includes advising on e.g. pharmaceutical and medical device regulations, EU and UK laws concerning clinical trials, data protection, EU food and drug regulations, internal investigations, product liability and safety laws, compliance and much more. The lawyers also advise and represent clients in proceedings before the regulators, scientific committees and in the UK and EU Courts.

Candidates should have strong and broad Life Sciences experience and ideally be qualified in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. EU qualified lawyers or in-house lawyers with the right expertise and experience in the UK and EU markets could also be considered.

You should have strong academics and be technically astute with excellent drafting skills. You should have good interpersonal skills and be confident dealing with clients directly. A Sciences degree would be helpful, though not essential.
